2020 Audi has brought to Detroit Auto Show its concept Allroad Shooting Brake, positioned as something between a crossover, wagon and even a sports coupe.
The total length of the two-door car reaches 4200 mm (the size of the wheelbase – 2510), width – 1850, height – 1410. According to the company, some of the design prototype solutions will be used in future production models of their production. Most likely, it was a coupe 2020 Audi TT and future third-generation A4.
The power unit for this SUV is a hybrid propulsion system with drive to all four wheels, called – e-Tron Quattro. It combines a 2.0-liter engine turbocharged petrol and power up to 288 hp of torque – 380 Nm and two electric motors.
The first electric motor (its capacity – 40 kW with 270 Nm) is set between a gasoline engine and robotized gearbox S Tronic. A second can reach up to 85 kW (270 nm) and mounted on the rear axle. Responsible for their food capacious lithium-ion battery, a full charge is enough to overcome the 50 km of pure electric.
Thus, the overall efficiency of power units reached 408 “horses”, which allows the concept to accelerate from zero to a hundred in just 4.6 seconds, with a top speed (electronically limited car) 250 km / h. The combined cycle fuel consumption average conditions only 1.9 liters per hundred kilometers.
It should also be noted that the prototype is equipped with a new, fully electronic instrument panel, which will also be in the future 2020 Audi TT. This would eliminate the use of the screen in the center console, as all the necessary information can now be displayed directly on the instrument panel.
